What is a Sports Grille?
| Louie and Pete Dontas made their way from a small island in Greece to the bright lights of New York City in the early 1970s. Both brothers had dreams of making it big on their own. However, they soon came to realize that there is no stronger bond than family. So in the early 1980s, the brothers combined forces. Their motto was to ensure that their guests felt like part of the family, by providing them with great food, friendly service, in a clean, comfortable, and fun atmosphere. Today, their traditions and values continue at the COPPERHEAD with their sons Michael L. and Michael P. (named after their grandfather). "We wanted to create a place where we could combine the values that we had learned from our fathers with what we look for when dining out." Thus was born the COPPERHEAD GRILLE, a place where you can enjoy flavors from around the globe as well as local favorites, catch a game and relax with your family and ours. |

What is a Sports Grille?? It’s a place where food and sports merge to form a mini vacation from the everyday grind. Where armchair quarterbacks can question every call on our 130” HD Projection TVs. Where homemade recipes and 16 beers on tap are the substitute for stale vendor dogs and luke warm beer. We make you feel like part of the game while feeling like part of our family. This might not be what you expect from a place that surrounds you in your favorite sporting events. For this reason, we ask that you refrain from the terms Sports Pub or Sports Bar. Every morning our highly trained staff arrives to prepare all of our signature sauces and classic recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. All items on our menu are hand crafted with painstaking precision and our management team spends hours every day tasting and temping our products to ensure that each dish meets our high standards. Our family's number one goal is to make our guests feel like part of the family, and like grandma always said, "nobody leaves my house with an empty stomach."
