Louie and Pete Dontas made their way from a small island in Greece to the bright lights of New York City in the early 1970s. Both brothers had dreams of making it big on their own. However, they soon came to realize that there is no stronger bond than family. So in the early 1980s, the brothers combined forces. Their motto was to ensure that their guests felt like part of the family, by providing them with great food, friendly service, in a clean, comfortable, and fun atmosphere. Today, their traditions and values continue at the COPPERHEAD with their sons Michael L. and Michael P. (named after their grandfather). "We wanted to create a place where we could combine the values that we had learned from our fathers with what we look for when dining out." Thus was born the COPPERHEAD GRILLE, a place where you can enjoy flavors from around the globe as well as local favorites, catch a game and relax with your family and ours.
